A split for the Kenora Midget ‘AAA’ Thistles hockey team in Thompson, Manitoba on the weekend.
The Thistles made the long trek north and dropped a 6-1 decision to the Norman Northstars on Saturday.
They rebounded with a 4-2 victory Sunday.
Dryden’s Graham Oliphant and Sam Brunton both picked up an assist in the win.
Matthew Pitchenese and Jarod Price missed both games due to suspensions.
Kenora is back on home ice Wednesday night against the 9-7 Eastman Selects.
