Dryden’s Kevin Raine won’t be starting the hockey season in the NHL.
The L.A. Kings have sent the defeceman down to their American Hockey League affiliate the Manchester Monarchs.
Raine will be now be fighting for a spot with the Monarchs.
He finished playing 4-seasons of junior hockey last year before getting a taste of AHL play in 5-games with the Portland Pirates.
In a Facebook posting Raine commented on what an experience it was to be able to make such an impact with the Kings organization the last few weeks.
