The Dryden GM Ice Dogs have added some depth up-front.
The Ice Dogs have acquired 18-year-old forward Jacob Siebenga.
Siebenga suited up for 39-games with the English River Miners last season and amassed 20-goals and 32-assists.
The Surrey, B.C. product also has experience in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and the Pacific Junior Hockey League.
President Mike Sveinson says Siebenga adds another layer of offence to what is shaping up to be one of the deepest forward cores they have put together in recent years.
He adds he’s a big player who is capable of scoring as well as facilitating his teammates.
Siebenga says he looks forward to joining a team with a winning culture and his goal is to secure a spot in the Royal Bank Cup.
He’s listed as 6’1, 181-pounds.
