‘Kids Invent Toys’ Program A Huge Hit in Dryden

The Dryden Public Library and Patricia Area Community Endeavours have teamed up to offer a new program for local kids.
A large group of kids have been working on creating their own board games and toys.
Dave Lyle is the Youth Entrepreneurship Coordinator with PACE and says the ‘Kids Invent Toys’ program gives youth a chance to showcase their creativity and learn about entrepreneurship and problem solving skills.
Lyle says the program helps kids think outside the box and encourages them to think of new ideas.
Library Program Manager Tina Wallin says it’s a win-win situation.
Wallin says the program offers a different alternative to kids and brings them to the library where they can expand their horizons.
