10 kids in the Big Brothers-Big Sisters program are taking part in a mini-Police academy this week.
Kids ‘N Kops allows participants to learn more about law enforcement, while having fun.
Big Bunch Coordinator Stephanie Semotok says it’s a worthwhile program as kids obtain a heightened respect for the law, Police and the community through various activities.
She adds it helps the children who are on the waiting list for a Big Brother or Sister to improve social skills and interact with others.
OPP, Dryden Police and the Lac Seul Police Service are partners in the initiative.
