Kitchen Fires

A couple of kitchen fires have been a concern for the Dryden Fire Service in the past 24 hours.
Deputy Fire Chief Ken Kurz says a structural kitchen fire broke out at a home on Barrett Road yesterday afternoon.
Crews quickly put it out but had to remove smoke.
A grease fire broke out in a Wilson Trailer Park home early this morning.
Kurz says the homeowner put out the blaze with a portable fire extinguisher.
Smoke and powder had to be removed.
No one was hurt in either case.
