Precipitation Should Help Fires

Numerous grass fires have broken out around Sunset Country in recent days.
However, precipitation today should help the situation.
The Dryden Fire Service, with help from Oxdrift and Barclay crews, contained two grass fires Tuesday.
A grass fire on Kellar Road had threatened a house before it was put out.
Another blaze on Glengoland Road threatened a wooded area before being extinguished.
No one was hurt.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is investigating both cases.
