Local sports clubs are on the receiving end of extra funding thanks to the Dryden Kiwanis Club.
Club President Rick Piche and Executive Member Darren Callewaert visited the CKDR studios to make several donations.
Dryden Minor Hockey, Dryden Youth Soccer and Dryden Minor Football are receiving $1,000 each.
Making Connections for Children and Youth is getting $1,800.
Callewaert says the club selected these groups since they help get kids outdoors and active.
The money was raised through a Kiwanis Club raffle.
