KPDSB Adult Education Graduation

Twenty-seven people of all ages were dressed in gown and cap to accept their Ontario Seconary School Diploma.
The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board and Lakehead Public School held a graduation ceremony in Dryden for the graduates of the 2012 adult education program.
The students remained in their home communities of Dryden, Ignace, Kenora and Red Lake while enrolled in the Lakehead Adult Education Centre in Thunder Bay.
KPDSB Director of Education Jack McMaster attended the ceremony, giving a speech of encouragement to the students.
McMaster says it’s been a fairly difficult time for students to get to this point and notes it’s quite the celebration.
He notes there’s plenty of services available to help graduates find a job.
There are 524 students enrolled in adult learning programs in Dryden, Ignace, Kenora and Red Lake.
