Everyone was all smiles as the ribbon was cut at the new Dryden Native Friendship Centre.
The new location is at 74 Queen street, right at the intersection of Queen Street and Van Horne Street.
The open house was held from 10am till 2pm.
President of the centre Lious Simard gave a speech, thanking staff, volunteers and sponsors for all their hard work.
There was also a drumming session, food and cultural activities.
Simard says the main message is ” Family, friends, communities. A tradition of helping each other.”
Executive Director Sally Ledger says she is happy with the new location and its improvements.
Ledger says all programs are now in one place and the facility is wheel-chair accessible.
