We won’t know how much rain is going to fall in Northwestern Ontario until late this afternoon or early this evening.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Thunder Bay, Atikokan, Upsala and Ignace.
Meterologist Geoff Coulson says there’s a chance most of the rain could fall to the west of Thunder Bay.
Those in the brunt of the storm can expect 50 to 75 millimetres of rain.
Thunder Bay is hoping for the alternative, some 10-15 millimetres, as the City still hasn’t fully recovered from last month’s flooding.
