The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board will be
going ahead with a number of capital projects this year.
Trustees approved the spending under the good places to
learn funding, being made available by the Provincial
Government.
Dean Carrie is the Chief Financial Officer for the
school board and says they had been seeking increased
funding to carry out mroe extensive renovations, but will
have to be content with the four million dollars that has
been allocated by the Ministry of Education.

The School Board will be fixing up terminal units in the
Dryden High School Tech Wing, and will also be replacing
interior lighting and windows.
