The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is giving notice that all schools within their board will be closed on Wednesday, January 15th.
The closures are due to a one-day, full withdrawal of services as a part of their job action.
All KPDSB schools will be closed as well as adult education sites in Dryden, Kenora and Sioux Lookout and Cooperative Education placements for high school students will also be cancelled for the day.
Childcare spaces and EarlyOn Centres will remain open, but before and after school programming will not be operating.
These closures are specifically for KPDSB and not for the Northwest Catholic District School Board or the Kenora Catholic District School Board.
