A stellar summer on the links has earned Vermilion Bay’s Jordan Krantz
a chance to be named Manitoba Amateur Golfer of the Year.
Krantz is one of 3 finalists for the award, which will be handed out
next Monday at the Larters at St. Andrews Golf and Country Club.
The 24-year-old led his University of Texas at Arlington team to the
Southland Conference Championship, winning medalist honors by 5 strokes.
Krantz repeated as the Men’s Manitoba Amateur Champion after carding a
final round 7-under par 65.
He was also the only Manitoba team player to qualify for the Match
Play event at the Canadian Amateur Championship.
