More much deserved recognition for the late Len Kropioski.
Upper Deck says it will be releasing a special hockey card in his honour as part of its Museum Collection.
“Kroppy” was a passionate supporter of sports in Kenora and also a die-hard Winnipeg Jets fan, often travelling two-and-a-half hours for every home game.
Kroppy was a veteran of World War II and passed away two years ago at the age of 98.
Upper Deck says it will be releasing his hockey card free of charge to Canadian and American veterans one day before Remembrance Day.
American and Canadian veterans can score FREE Upper Deck Museum Collection trading cards on Singles Day; starting on November 10. Get to know the two veterans featured on these special cards! https://t.co/uuKA128LzN pic.twitter.com/RJ4PkoFZs2
