That’s the belief of the NDP when it comes to improving math scores in Ontario schools.
Just days ago, Education Minister Lisa Thompson introduced legislation imposing a new math test for teachers when they begin their career.
Now, according to the opposition, the PC’s are looking to cut funding that helps teachers improve their math skills down the line.
The NDP is accusing the government of being more interested in playing politics than actually improving outcomes for students.
