L-U Proffesor Weighs In On Political Situation In Alberta

The political landscape in Alberta has been rocked.
Nine members of the official opposition Wild Rose party, including leader Danielle Smith, have defected to the Progressive Conservatives.
Lakehead University political science professor Laure Paquette says it shows it’s hard to go up against the big boys and win.
Paquette says it’s sad to see there are no supports in place to help small political parties in the country to survive.
She questions what Danielle Smith will get out of the deal.
