Unionized members at Hoshizaki House in Dryden have approved their first contract under Unifor by a 100% vote.
Highlights include a 4.5% wage hike over the first two years, with wage increases tied to the availability of government funding in the final year of the contract.
It also includes 120 hours of paid sick leave per year and full benefits.
The contract provides full recognition of seniority for postings, bumping, layoffs and recall.
The agreement also includes improved language related to several issues, full benefits and a $175 per month employer contribution to employee pension plans.
