Canada’s Labour Minister doesn’t appear to be discouraging a boycott of American products during the current trade dispute with the U.S.
Patty Hajdu says the Trudeau government opted to introduce new tariffs because they wanted to give Canadians more of a choice.
Hajdu points out that we are very proud of our country and very protective of our country.
Hajdu is hoping that common sense will prevail and the two countries can return to cooler times.
However, she stresses they will continue to profoundly stand up for Canadians and Canadian jobs.
