A boy from Lac Seul First Nation with the rare autoimmune “Kawasaki Disease” is being recognized as an Ontario Junior Citizen by the Ontario Community Newspapers Association.

Obishikokaang Elementary student John Chisel is only nine-years-old and is being recognized for his generosity.

Chisel has raised over 27 hundred dollars for the Sick Kids Foundation.

In the meantime he is focused on helping and providing support to families, but one day hopes for a cure.
