After a volatile summer, water levels on Lake of the Woods and Lac Seul have finally stabilized.
The Lake of the Woods Control board says inflows and lake levels are at near normal, or just below normal for this time of the year.
Rick Walden is the executive engineer of the Control board and says the extreme conditions seen over the past few years are starting to become the new normal.
