No Concern With Avian Flu

Despite reports of the Avian Flu reaching Manitoba and parts of
Quebec, the Region’s Chief Medical Officer of Health is not pushing the
panic button.
Doctor Pete Sarsfield says the public must remember there hasn’t been
a single human case of the flu in Canada.
Sarsfield says although the topic is receiving a lot of
media attention, the flu has not shown it goes from birds to humans.
He reminds everyone that right now it’s more important to get
an influenza shot.
