Lake Survey in Northwestern Ontario

Lakes in the Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances areas are the target this year of Ministry of Natural Resources fishery crews.
Annual fish surveys are being carried out on 132 lakes across the Region.
Spokesperson Bill Towill says the information collected is used to study the fish population and to make changes to fishing regulations in the Region.
Towill says they usually try to study the lakes on a 5-year cycle.
