Lakehead University is celebrating a decade of
partnership with the Canada Foundation for Innovation.
The University’s affiliation with CFI improves
Lakehead’s capacity and capability as a research based
education institution.
A University Spokesperson says the cooperative
program also provides a knowledge based economy in Thunder
Bay and the Northwest Region.
Partnership with CFI has enabled many of the school’s
researchers to work with the latest equipment, and
generate information that has a global relevance.
The Thunder Bay campus is currently hosting Research and
Innovation Week 2008.
