The Miners dropped a lopsided 10-4 decision to the Fort Frances Lakers Friday on home ice.
Alex Maticic, Jarrett Day, Aaron Beauchamp and Richard Dartnall scored for the Miners.
English River outshot the Lakers 42-40.
