Another huge win for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs against the SIJHL leading Fort Frances Lakers.
Zach Kercz scored his second of the game 28 seconds into overtime as the Ice Dogs defeated the Lakers 3-2.
Jonathan Philley also scored on a very special night as the team was playing for cancer survivours.
Tate Sproxton was fantastic again making 37-saves, including an amazing game winning diving stop with 2-seconds remaining in the third.
The Ice Dogs are now three points behind second and three clear of fifth.
They can move a point behind second with a win Sunday night in their final home game of the year.
The Dogs play English River starting at 7:30.
