Lakers Defence Holds Miners

The English River Miners are the latest team not able to cool off the red hot Fort Frances Lakers.
The Miners dropped a 4-2 decision to the Lakers Saturday in Ear Falls.
Kellen McBlain and John Morales both scored for English River.
Greg Harney was busy in net for the Miners making 54 saves.
English River could only muster 18 shots on the Lakers net.
In other SIJHL action Saturday, the Thunder Bay North Stars held off Wisconsin 4-1.
