A stellar week in between the pipes has resulted in SIJHL Player of the Week honours for Jordan Cartney.
The Fort Frances Lakers goalie won both of his games last week and recorded the first shutout of the year against the Dryden Ice Dogs.
Cartney only allowed two goals on 51-shots in the two games.
The 19-year-old from Calgary leads the league in both goals-against average and save percentage and has won his last 5-starts.
