Lapinski-Mobile Health #1

The Metis Nation of Ontario is working on a project

aimed at improving health care in remote communities.

Chair Gary Lapinski says they would like to create a

mobile health clinic that would tour the Northwest region.

Lapinski adds they’re looking at outfitting a fifth

wheel with high tech medical equipment.

A doctor and medical staff would travel with the mobile

clinic. Lapinski says it’s important to bring health care

to people who can’t afford to leave their communities.
