Horizon Hydro has received the go ahead from the Provincial Government
to pursue a waterpower plant on the Troutlake River near Ear Falls.
President Ian Baines the facility will generate 3.2-megawatts of
electricity for some 2,900 homes and will create a number of jobs,
primarily in the construction phase.
Baines says they still have a long way to go.

This is is the second green power hydro development project in Ontario
for the Toronto based company.
