Last Day Today for IGA in Dryden

Dryden’s IGA store will close at 6 PM today (Wednesday, September 3) Store Manager Ron Ursel made the announcement this morning, saying there is almost no stock left and it makes no sense to leave the doors open for the rest of the week. He went on to thank IGA’s customers for their loyalty and support through the years and in the last several difficult months. Sobey’s announced it would close the IGA store in Dryden after its parent company bought out Canada Safeway. The Safeway store in downtown Dryden will continue to operate.
