Last Minute Cramming Underway For Grade 10 Literacy Tests

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board believes it has grade 10 students properly prepared for Thursday’s Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test.

The exam is a requirement for students to receive their high school diploma.

Ignace School Principal Chantel Moore says they have support systems in place to help students succeed.

Moore says they offer in-school and out-of-school tutoring to support students.

Students who don’t pass the test the first time receive a report afterwards outlining their strengths and weaknesses.

The test contains two booklets and it takes about 150-minutes to complete.
