Some tax tips for those who are waiting until the last minute.
Roger Haineault of Tax Aid says you should have your T-4 and T-5 income statements as well as medical and charitable donation receipts.
He points out there’s also a new family tax credit available which could result in a $2,000 credit.
Haineault also issues a reminder about R-R-S-P contributions.
You have until April 30th to file your personal income tax return and at last report the average refund was running in the $1,700 range.
