Latest Census Results in Kenora District

About 1-quarter of residents in the Kenora District consider their
ethnic background as ‘Canadian’ according to the latest census results.
In fact, more residents describe their ancestral origins as British.
Stats Canada Analyst Jarod Dobson says that doesn’t mean there has been
a big change in the ethnic make-up in the region.
Other popular responses to the ethnic origin in the Kenora District;
14.8% considered themselves German, 14.1% Ukrainian and
10.7% Aboriginal.
