Domtar has announced layoffs at the Dryden Mill.
The company will close the Number 2 Paper Machine and 2-cutsize sheeters
next Saturday as a result of a major restructuring plan.
The Number 1 Paper Machine, which has been idled since April 2006, will
re-start sometime next month.
Company Spokesperson Bonny Skene says the company is balancing
production with demand.
