The ripple effect from the shutdown of the paper machine at the Dryden Domtar Mill has begun.
6-people at the Mintech Canada Dryden Plant will lose their jobs.
The staff will spend the rest of the year decommissioning the Plant.
Mintech produces precipitated calcium carbonate for the Mill, which is used in the fine paper making process.
The Company says its actively looking to find jobs for employees at its 2-plants in Quebec.
