The Keewatin Patricia District School Board is
encouraging students to take part in leadership programs
at it’s elementary and secondary schools.
Superintendent of Education Wendy Parkin says they
created the student leadership fund last year, and
received entries from most of the board’s schools.

Beaver Brae also created a respect program, and recieved
2-thousand dollars for their projects.
Parker adds they hope to continue the program next year.
