It couldn’t get much closer in Ignace for the race for Mayor but in the end Lee Kennard was elected to a second term.
Kennard edged Kimberely Baigrie by only 12-votes.
He admits he was surprised with the narrow margin of the vote.
Kennard says he believes it will be a good Council as he knows them very well.
He says he’s looking forward to getting together to get on the same page.
Kennard will be joined by incumbent Councillors Al Graver and Chicki Pesola as well as newcomers Shaun Defeo and John Taddeo.
