It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Leona Levesque on September 3, 2012 at the Dryden Regional Health Center.
Leona is survived by her children Jeanne Potter (Tom), Madeleine Getson (Vic), Roland Levesque (Betty), Monique Townson (Pauli Viheriasalo), Claudette Desautels (Jerry) and Jessie Lizotte (Claude Gilbert) as well as by 18 grand children and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Dominique Levesque, daughter Lizette, son Joseph and grandson Darryl Lizotte.
Visitation for Leona Levesque will be held at the Dryden Community Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday September 6, 2012 from 7:00-9:00pm with prayers by Father Al Campeau at 7:00pm.
A memorial service for Leona Levesque will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Friday September 7, 2012 at 10:00am .
Interment to follow at the Dryden Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Dryden Palliative Care through the Dryden Community Funeral Home 249 Grand Trunk Ave. Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
