LHINS Protest

Representatives of the 4 major health care unions in the Province were
in Kenora Tuesday.
They were making their opposition known to the proposed LHINS set to
come into effect this spring in Ontario.
Registered Nurse Judy Carlson says a lot of people still don’t know what the
Local Health Integration Networks will mean to their health care.
The Protesters called for changes to the structure of the Networks
demanding the Government elect community representatives to each one.
