Canada Border Service Agencies will no longer be the
place to go for pleasure craft licences.
Starting in April, licences can be picked up at Service
Canada Centres across the region.
OPP Constable Karen Rustige says they are often asked
why boaters need the licence.

Rustige adds there is a big difference between the
pleasure craft licence, and the operator’s card of the
same name.
The licence is the actual number on your boat, while the
other is proof you are trained to drive the vessel.
