Liberals Out With Infrastructure Plan

The Liberals are promising to double the amount the federal government is currently spending on infrastructure.

Kenora Liberal candidate Bob Nault says that means up to 125-billion dollars will be available over 10-years to improve not only roads and bridges, but what he calls social infrastructure.

He says that includes affordable housing and seniors housing.

Nault adds the funding will also be critical for First Nations communities, which continue to suffer for poor or insufficient infrastructure.

He says it’s more than just a way to stimulate a sluggish economy.
