An expansion on the Mineral Exploration Tax Credit by the Conservative Government as been announced.
Kenora Candidate Greg Rickford says the credit will help northern and remote mines that face higher costs.
Rickford believes the tax credit helps future mining in the region and will move projects forward including the Ring of Fire.
He says the Conservatives have a great reputation on supporting mining operations.
