Over the long weekend, some lightning passed through the area, and one strike hit the Fort Frances water tower in the west end.
It was bad news for Vianet Internet Services as some of their equipment on top of the tower was damaged.
Spokesperson Adrian Chapman says it wasn’t as bad as thought…
