A potentially explosive situation for Dryden Police over the Civic
Holiday Weekend.
Officers were making what they thought was a routine traffic stop
early Monday at the intersection of Duke & Highway 17, after reports of an
eratic driver.
Police say Martin Peterer was initially co=operative but started
resisting.
A media release says a passanger in the vehicle then attacked
officers who were still trying to deal with Peterer.
Cindy McGogy & Peterer face charges of assualt police, resisting
arrest & causing a disturbance.
He has also been charged with uttering death threats, refusing to
provide a breath sample & obstruction.
The City pair appear in court September 19th.
