The Red Lake Lions Club is recognizing the efforts of everyone involved in Red Lake Fire 49.
The organization is out with a fundraising calendar with pictures from the battleground and those who made the sacrifice to protect the community.
The August fire forced the evacuation of the entire community as it moved within two kilometres of Red Lake.
Fortunately no one was injured and no property was lost as provincial and municipal fire crews as well as others worked tirelessly to control it.
The calendar is now available and is only $15.
Proceeds go to the Lions Club to support local projects.
