Ontario’s doctors and the province are heading to arbitration later this month in an effort to strike a new deal.
The two sides had been in mediated talks, but they ended last week with no agreement being reached.
The Ontario Medical Association says the differences are just too great.
Doctors have been working without a contract for the past five years.
