Red Lake Miners forward Bryce Young has been named SIJHL/Play It Again Sports Player of the Week.
In a pair of outings last week, the 18-year-old from The Pas, Manitoba, amassed seven points in two victories.
Young started with a three assist effort in an overtime win in Dryden.
He followed that up with his first career hat trick, including a game-winning goal, against Thief River Falls.
Young also recorded an assist in that game.
He now has points in his first four games.
Young sits tied for fourth in league scoring with 5-goals and 5-assists.
Dryden GM Ice Dogs forward Braden Shea also received consideration.
