The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is starting to wind down operations in British Columbia.
There are now 136-personnel working in B.C., along with 10,000 lengths of hose, 203 pump kits as well as other equipment.
At one point there were nearly 300-firefighters helping in suppression efforts.
Officials say additional staff will be returning home in the coming days.
Meantime, the threat of forest fires is dwindling as we officially mark the start of Fall Friday afternoon.
There are only 15-fires burning in northwestern Ontario and they are all being monitored.
The hazard is predominantly low with a few pockets of moderate scattered throughout the region.
