Its a huge milestone for the Kenora Catholic District School Board, which oversees operations at St. John in Red Lake.
The Board has now surpassed $100,000 donated to the Terry Fox Foundation through school runs.
Director of Education Phyllis Eikre says she is so proud of her students and their families.
Eikre stresses local communities continue to give and says this is a powerful statement of what youth do in our region.
Schools within the board have been participating in the Terry Fox Run since 2000.
The Red Lake St. John School run will be next Thursday.
